DESCRIPTION
Bracelet anode is one of Sacrificial Anode’s type which can be used in Sacrificial Anode Cathodic Protection (SACP) System.
There are two variant of bracelet anodes which often be used for protecting the steel structure, i.e. Aluminum alloy and Zinc alloy.
Application both of the types depend to the resistivity and environment of the structure.

RECOMMENDED USES
Aluminum bracelet anode mostly can be installed in sea water & sea mud environment, whereas Zinc bracelet anode can be applied in river (brackish water), sea water and sea mud environment.
With same current demand is needed for a structure, the weight requirement of Zinc anode shall be bigger because the specific gravity of Zinc anode (7100 Kg/M³) is bigger then Aluminum anode (2700 Kg/M3).
The structures can be protected by bracelet anodes is submarines/offshore pipelines, riser & dog leg of platform, steel pile of jetty (new & existing), any circular structure, etc.

HOW TO INSTALL
Bracelet for pipeline shall be installed on coating’s applicator by using thermit-welding. Usually, cable will be used for connecting bracelet anodes to the pipeline.

Bracelet for steel pile shall be installed on site by using underwater welding. Usually, “T-Tab” will be used for connecting bracelet anodes to the steel pile.
